The proposed solutions are aimed at increasing the popularity and the level of comfort of the designed area both for the residents and for the visitors of Yekaterinburg. The improvement concept is based on a complex approach towards organizing urban spaces, which presupposes streamlining vehicular and pedestrian traffic, parking areas, arranging various scenarios of social activities and creating spatial focus points, shaping a unique image of the area and environmental variety, organizing a comfortable and safe environment, adapted to the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, and people with limited mobility.

One of the main principles is based on creating improvements as a unified system of public spaces, where the area is divided into various functional and conceptual spaces, but, at the same time, all these spaces are linked into one system and form a unified pedestrian route. The focus is on three key spaces, presupposing unique scenarios of area use, according to the real needs of active urban communities.

In order to form a unique image of the designed area, the use of modern street furniture, lighting solutions, and signage systems is provided, as well as applying various road surface materials. Great attention is paid to green landscaping, the reasonable use of which will improve the microclimatic conditions of the designed spaces and will visually enrich them.
